NutriCoach - Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NutriCoach mobile application, website, and any related services ("NutriCoach", "the App", "we", "us", "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using NutriCoach, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Purpose of NutriCoach
NutriCoach is a lifestyle-led nutrition guidance tool designed to support structure, awareness, and decision-making around everyday food choices.
NutriCoach exists to reduce friction, simplify planning, and support consistency in real life. It does not instruct, prescribe, or mandate behaviour.
2. What NutriCoach Is Not
NutriCoach is not:
- A medical or healthcare service
- A registered dietitian or nutritionist
- A provider of medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice
- A treatment for any disease, illness, or condition
- A substitute for professional guidance
Nothing within the App constitutes medical advice, dietetic treatment, or clinical nutrition therapy.
3. No Medical or Dietary Advice
All content within NutriCoach — including food suggestions, guidance, prompts, insights, frameworks, and AI-generated outputs — is provided for general informational and lifestyle purposes only.
You must always seek advice from a qualified medical professional or registered dietitian before making dietary changes, particularly if you have existing health conditions, are taking medication, or have been advised to follow a specialist diet.
4. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
NutriCoach is not suitable for use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding unless explicitly approved by a qualified medical professional.
Nutritional requirements during these stages are highly individual and require specialist medical guidance. NutriCoach does not provide pregnancy-specific support and must not be relied upon during these periods.
5. User Eligibility and Safeguarding
NutriCoach is intended only for users who:
- Are aged 18 years or over
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Do not have a current or previous eating disorder
- Are not medically underweight
- Have not been advised to avoid dietary or calorie-related changes
If you fall into any of the above categories, you must not use the App.
NutriCoach may implement safeguards, restrict features, or display guidance where patterns suggest potential risk.
6. User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all food choices you make
- You choose what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat
- NutriCoach does not control or enforce behaviour
- All guidance is optional and non-binding
You retain full responsibility for your health, wellbeing, and outcomes at all times.
7. Responsibility for Food, Brands, and Ingredients
Any food suggestions displayed within NutriCoach are illustrative guidance only.
You are solely responsible for:
- Selecting specific products or brands
- Checking ingredients, allergens, and nutritional suitability
- Ensuring foods meet your personal, medical, cultural, or dietary requirements
NutriCoach accepts no responsibility for adverse reactions, intolerances, or outcomes arising from food consumed.
8. No Reliance
NutriCoach is not intended to replace personal judgement, awareness, or responsibility.
You agree not to rely solely on the App when making decisions relating to food, health, or wellbeing.
9. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that changes to diet and lifestyle carry inherent risks.
By using NutriCoach, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from your use of the App, including physical, emotional, or behavioural outcomes.
10. AI and Automated Guidance
NutriCoach may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate suggestions or insights.
You acknowledge that:
- Automated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete
- AI does not replace professional judgement
- Final decision-making always rests with you
NutriCoach accepts no liability for actions taken based on automated outputs.
11. No Duty of Care
Nothing within these Terms or within the App creates a professional, medical, or fiduciary relationship between you and NutriCoach Limited.
No duty of care is established through use of the App.
12. No Guarantees
NutriCoach makes no guarantees regarding:
- Weight loss or body composition changes
- Health outcomes
- Behavioural or lifestyle results
Outcomes vary between individuals and depend on numerous factors beyond our control.
13. Free and Paid Services
NutriCoach may offer:
- A free version
- Paid subscriptions
- Paid or premium features
Pricing, features, and availability may change at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.
14. Beta and Early Access
During beta or early-access phases:
- Features may change or be removed
- Data may be reset
- Errors may occur
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
15. Intellectual Property
All content, frameworks, logic, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of NutriCoach Limited.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriCoach Limited shall not be liable for:
- Injury, illness, or adverse health outcomes
- Emotional distress or behavioural impact
- Food reactions or intolerances
- Misinterpretation or misuse of guidance
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
Use of NutriCoach is entirely at your own risk.
17. Emergency and Crisis Disclaimer
NutriCoach is not intended for use in medical or mental health emergencies.
If you are experiencing distress or require urgent support, seek immediate assistance from emergency services or a qualified professional.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or where safeguarding concerns arise.
You may stop using NutriCoach at any time.
19. App Store Independence
NutriCoach is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Google, or any app marketplace provider.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
